    Purpose

    Research provides evidence for policies and decisions to improve health care outcomes. Knowledge on research methodology is essential to conduct research which provides valid and reliable results. It is essential to build the capacity of Doctors for conducting research of high quality in their field of interest.


    Objectives

    This workshop aims to impart basic knowledge on

    • Principles in planning a study – Literature review, objectives, study designs
    • Designing a study protocol
    • Principles of Ethics in Research
    • Concepts in biostatistics
    • Manuscript writing
